On the lower ground floor, the kitchen and dining room create a welcoming space to share meals after a day by the sea, with a nearby shower room perfectly placed for sandy returns. From here, doors open out to the garden, drawing the outside in. Upstairs, the first-floor sitting room enjoys beautiful sea views and offers a calm spot to unwind with a good book or a quiet evening, while a twin bedroom with 3’ single beds overlooks the lively High Street. The second floor is home to the master bedroom with a 4’ 6” double bed, where elevated sea views set the tone for slow mornings, alongside a spacious family bathroom with bath, wash basin and WC.

Outside, the cottage’s setting is truly unique within Aldeburgh, with direct access to the High Street at the front and a private garden leading to the beach at the rear. The paved garden is a sheltered sun trap, filled with raised beds and a much-loved display of hollyhocks that have become something of a local feature. A gate at the end of the garden opens almost directly onto the shingle beach, just moments away, making early morning swims or sunset strolls effortlessly part of your day. There is no reserved parking available. Free on-street parking can be found at the rear of the property, while the High Street at the front has time-restricted parking of up to two hours between 9am and 6pm.
