Outside there is a small planted area with seating and a charcoal barbecue for your enjoyment. You’ll likely find it hard to leave this oasis of calm and tranquillity, but if you can venture out there are wonderful country walks right on the doorstep. At the epicentre of a wide tract of unspoilt Suffolk countryside, there are welcoming pubs and delightful villages including Clare, Lavenham, Long Melford and the larger towns of Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, and Cambridge are all within range.
