Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating where everyone can relax, read or play a quiet game after a day out. The well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare relaxed suppers, perhaps followed by homemade creations from the outdoor pizza oven. The enclosed courtyard is made for lingering evenings, with the hot tub on hand to ease tired muscles under wide Suffolk skies.

From the door, country lanes invite walking and cycling, while the village offers traditional greens, a local shop and friendly pubs. Nearby Bury St Edmunds provides independent shops, cafés, restaurants, Abbey Gardens and historic sights, with Lavenham, Long Melford, Cavendish, Thetford Forest and the Suffolk Coast and Heaths also within reach.
