You can rustle up a fantastic feast on the Range style oven in the gorgeous kitchen or throw open the patio doors and enjoy a delicious breakfast in the private courtyard, al fresco style. This stunning pet friendly holiday home is located in Stowupland in central Suffolk close to the market town of Stowmarket which enjoys a main line train link to London Liverpool Street. It is within easy driving distance of the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket the home of racing, Cambridge, Clare, Long Melford and Lavenham to the west and the Heritage Coastal towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold, Woodbridge and Thorpeness to the east.

We had a fantastic time at the Old Workshop, the two of us and a couple of black labs. The place was easy to find and very clean and tidy on arrival. Everything had been considered, even down to the supply of key condiments that are a pain to buy on a short trip. The decor was lovely and it was a pleasure to stay inside during the baking hot weather. To top it all off, to our surprise, the accommodation was equipped with a new air con unit, a game changer...!!! Daniela was lovely when we met her, but discrete as well....we were left alone to enjoy our time at the Old Workshop...we thoroughly recommend..!!

Stunning cottage in a tranquil setting. The cottage is well presented to high standard of equipment and soft furnishings. The highlight of our cottage mini holiday was the hot tub and bistro table and chairs in the court yard.. On our first evening we sat in the hot tub looking out onto the sunset, listening to the birds, pure relaxation. Our host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble to ask. There were a couple of occasions that we asked for recommendations places to eat and David was only more than happy to help us. Lots of country walks nearby and a local co op half a mile away for those little necessities. We would highly recommend The Old Workhouse Cottage in Stowuplands, Sulfork. You won’t be disappointed.
