A very special location. So peaceful and quiet. Plenty of wildlife to spot, deer, hares, woodpecker and more. Very comfortable cottage with lots of history but all mod cons. Very low ceiling so mind your head 🤣

Lovely cottage in a very rural setting. Good for a peaceful holiday but nothing within walking distance and the pub only opens a few days a week and limited hours. Good dog walking but bored teenagers.

We loved our week at The Old House with our family, and all said we would love to go back next year! It was the perfect place for us - 5 adults and 2 small children - we particularly enjoyed the enclosed garden which provided a spacious and safe play space for our 2 1/2 year old grandson. We didn't see another person all week, as the house is well away from the road, with very few other houses nearby. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, and the bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The only thing to watch out for was the step from kitchen to hall, and the low doorway on the upstairs landing!
