The network of paths through beautiful parkland and ancient woodland includes a picnic area, a walled garden and a memory wood. Further afield, Wyken Vineyard (13.5 miles) is a 1,200-acre farm with a country store, farmers’ market and wonderful gardens., plus an excellent restaurant, housed in a restored, 400-year-old barn.
