Situated on a farm and lovingly restored by the owners, the cottages once formed part of the farm buildings and still retain their character and charm. Approached via quiet country lanes and set in countryside on one of the highest points in Suffolk, conveniently situated to explore the county.Ideally located in the heart of Suffolk, this is a great base for exploring the area, located between Stowmarket and Needham Market. Explore the miles of winding country roads, taking in the beautiful countryside. If you want to venture further a field Lavenham and Sudbury are steeped in history. Nearby Long Melford and Clare are famous for it's antique warehouses,shops and boutiques. Bury St Edmunds has a stunning cathedral, an abundance of shops, restaurants and museum, there is also a weekly market. Why not visit the coast whilst your here, Adlebugh and Southwold are a must. On arrival guests entering the property into a very light and spacious lounge area, with contemporary wall art and a lovely wooden floor, large window let in the summer sunshine, having exposed timber beams and a feature brick wall, the property has been lovingly restored, comfortable leather sofa, TV and a woodburner effect electric fire. The kitchen/diner has feature brick wall, exposed timber beams, and is in keeping with a traditional country kitchen having an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave. The bedroom has a king size bed, exposed timber bearns and wooden floor. The shower room comprises of a double shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC. Outside: The property benefit from a shared patio with garden furniture and BBQ. A shared garden and ample off road parking. The shared utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer with allocated shelving for each property. A shared games room. Additional information This property can be booked with it's sister properties to accommodate 8 people. Due to the current situation not all the facilities advertised at this property may be available or will require social distancing.
