Escape with your loved ones to this charming bell tent sitting on a small, sociable glamping site on a farm just 1.5 miles from Lakenheath. Sleeping four people in one open-plan living space, it's a wonderful base for families or groups who are searching for a peaceful glamping site where they can breathe in the fresh country air and gather around the fire pit each evening. Days here are easily filled: watch F-15 and F-35 fighter jets thunder skyward at the RAF Lakenheath Viewing Area (2 miles), and then swap the roar of the runway for the tranquillity of Lakenheath Fen (2 miles). Thetford Forest (7 miles) is great for cycling, hiking and treetop high-wire fun at Go Ape. Further afield, explore the secret priest holes and fine gardens at the National Trust’s moated medieval manor, Oxburgh Hall (12 miles).

Step inside your quaint bell tent and you’ll discover a lovely open-plan space where a double bed and two single beds form a perfectly restful family retreat beneath the canvas. There’s a shared outdoor kitchen nearby, where you’ll find your own fridge, kettle and box of cookware, so you're all set to whip up a fun camp feast. Alternatively, head to the site’s cafe and treat yourself to dinner and a few drinks. A private shower room with a walk-in shower and WC sits nearby.

Outside, a BBQ and a picnic bench are waiting for you to host fun al fresco dinners under the stars – and you can always pop to the shared outdoor kitchen if you need a microwave or a sink. Afterwards, take a seat at the shared central fire pit as evening falls and get to know your neighbours while you toast marshmallows. In the morning, take the little ones to the shared enclosed play area, which has a zip line, a trampoline, a climbing frame, a football pitch and a table tennis table. Private parking is available.
