Very comfortable, clean and pretty. The hosts are very friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. The garden is beautiful with plenty of places to sit. There are walks across fields straight from the property.

Although small, 9 Gate Cottage proved to be an ideal retreat for us. Looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a recent house move, the tranquility and plethora of walks with the dog proved a tonic. A lovely location steeped in history and with a wide selection of pubs and restaurants. I would also like to mention how welcoming and charming the owners were. I highly recommend this little bolt-hole.

Lovely cozy little cottage. Had everything we needed for our stay. Only downside in our eyes was that it was a small double bed which was a squeeze for us. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.
