It is also renowned for its culinary scene which shines through the local pubs and restaurants. The Dedham Vale aonb starts just 9.5 miles away and meanders along the River Stour and is a beautiful place to come and explore, with the villages of Dedham, East Bergholt, and Flatford all a must visit during your stay. The Suffolk Coast is within easy reach for day visits too (25 miles).

This lovely, detached cottage offers peace and tranquillity on a private drive, partially hidden from the quiet country lane by mature trees. It is a delightful place to come and escape to the countryside and offers accommodation for up to four people, making it ideal for a couple looking for some extra space, or for a small family. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one king-size and one twin, with use of a shared family shower room. Downstairs is a homely space that is warm and welcoming. The living room has a roaring wood burner, comfy sofas and smart television which are the perfect ingredients for enjoying a movie in front of the fire on those chillier days. The kitchen has all the modern essentials for your stay and is well equipped to make cooking at this self-catering home easy. The garden is a generous space with mown paths that meander through wonderful pockets of wildflowers and meet at the large pond where there is an abundance of wildlife to watch. There are benches dotted around the garden to enjoy moments throughout the day as well as a dining table and chairs to enjoy alfresco suppers directly outside the living room and kitchen doors. The owner has a choice of adult bicycles to borrow during your stay, at no extra cost. Bring your own helmet if you have one; owner can supply two helmets, hi-vis, and locks and lights. Perfect for exploring the quiet country lanes, historic pubs and churches.
