A beautiful location. A lovely family cottage for a weeks holiday. Everything we needed was provided, including a lovely stash of goodies to get us through the first day, very thoughtful. Bright, cheery accommodation with a beautiful garden and grounds. We could not have wanted more ...clean and comfortable.

A welcoming home from home. Our stay here was wonderful. My favourite thing about Higham Place Lodge is the feel of the space, it is so welcoming, light and cosy. The lounge is very comfortable and spacious and there are lots of good book to browse. We brought our two retrievers and it was lovely to be able to open the lounge doors and know they had a large secure garden to explore. It was also so lovely to be able to walk them off-lead just beyond our garden around the 15acre estate. So many good dog walks around the area too which we will have to come back and explore more! I could not fault our hosts who gave us space to be autonomous but left a lovey welcome letter and hamper along with helpful info for us to get our bearings of the area. The lamps, heating and radio was left on for us as we arrived late on a dark, wet and freezing evening so that instantly made us feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows are to die for. We all had such a happy relaxing week away and would highly recommend a stay here.
