Guests say

The Telephone Exchange is a unique and spacious cottage in a peaceful village, ideally located for exploring Wiltshire and nearby attractions such as Longleat and Stonehenge. Guests appreciate its quirky design, well-equipped kitchen, and family-friendly features like board games and a cosy den. The property offers good value and off-street parking. While some mention areas needing maintenance and improvements in cleanliness and comfort, most found it a charming and enjoyable base for a short break or family holiday.

Cleanliness is mixed, with several guests finding the property clean and fresh on arrival, while others noted issues such as dog hair, dusty rugs, unwashed crockery, and areas needing a deeper clean. Some bathrooms and kitchen areas were highlighted as needing more attention.

The location is highly praised for its quiet village setting, proximity to local walks, and easy access to attractions like Longleat, Stonehenge, Bath, and Salisbury. Guests found it convenient for exploring Wiltshire and appreciated the peaceful surroundings.

Comfort receives mixed feedback. Many guests enjoyed the spacious layout, cosy wood burner, and comfortable linens, but several found the mattresses too firm or uncomfortable, and noted the spiral staircase may not suit everyone. The property is generally warm and inviting.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen, board games, private parking, and a secure garden. Some guests noted maintenance issues such as overgrown gardens, broken fridge shelves, and missing amenities, but overall found the property well-appointed for short stays.

Guests appreciated prompt and helpful communication from the owner and thoughtful touches like games for children. However, there is no mention of gifts or welcome packs, so these cannot be guaranteed.

Very cosy and quirky accommodation. It was exactly as described. Located in the lovely village of Codford, ideal to visit the Vale of Pewsey and lots of places. Some nice walks straight from door too. Would be happy to go back if ever we are in the area again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genosen. Den Kindern hat das Dachzimmer und der große Sportplatz direkt nebenan gefallen und die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge in die Region.
