The Oak (UK37719) and The Ash (UK37720) have been lovingly converted from old farm buildings to create spacious luxury accommodation, open-plan living space with exposed oak beams. To the front of the cottages is a courtyard, which offers further outdoor seating and parking. These properties are in a rural area, with breath-taking views across the countryside. Situated on the outskirts of the small village of Wingfield, close to picturesque market towns and rolling countryside, this is an ideal base for a relaxing break, family holiday or romantic getaway.

The open plan living/dining room is lovely and light with its sky light and beamed ceiling, comfortable sofas, and Smart TV. Comfortable, well equipped cottage. Loved the reclining sofas, most welcome after a day out and about!Only real downside was the very close proximity of a busy and noisy main road at the bottom of the garden.

Good base for visiting gardens, National Trust properties etc in the area. Disappointed that the property faces directly onto the farmyard.

Nicely decorated cottage and well laid out. We knew that the cottage was on a working farm (we have stayed in farm cottages before), what wasn’t made clear was the cottage opened directly onto the farmyard.This meant that there were disturbances from farm machinery moving about until 9pm. There were lots of flies, so you had to dash in and out quickly to try and stop them from coming in and one nights sleep was disturbed by a cow bellowing from 4:30am.There was a large area of garden opposite side of the cottage. However, this was noisy because there was an A road on the other side of the hedge.Great location for tourist attractions (especially if you like history) and local amenities.
