Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, spacious and clean rooms, and the garden's appeal to pets. The open fire and local walks add to the charm, though some minor maintenance issues are noted.

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a few mentioning the presence of cobwebs and mould in the bathroom, suggesting occasional lapses in thoroughness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and convenience for visiting local attractions. However, some guests noted a lack of local facilities and overgrown paths.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with spacious rooms and an open fire. However, some guests mentioned uncomfortable chairs and a smaller-than-expected bed, indicating room for improvement.

Facilities are well-regarded, including a well-equipped kitchen and good washing facilities. Some guests experienced issues with heating and oven, and there were reports of broken items and a missing ironing board.

Lovely place and area which is fantastic for stonehenge which has been on my bucket list for a long time. My only criticism is the insecure garden which put me on edge a bit as i have a chiweenie with intermittent hearing loss.

A exquisite cottage in a blissfully peaceful location. Amazing views and lovely walks from the cottage along the river. The cottage has everything you could need for your break and is well equipped. The dogs loved the freedom of the garden and we all enjoyed quiet evenings by the open fire. Would definitely recommend to others and I will be booking again.
