Guests say

Vale Lodge in Pewsey is highly praised for its cleanliness, modern comforts, and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, private garden, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. While some find the location slightly inconvenient for walking, the property is a tranquil retreat with easy access to local attractions.

Guests consistently mention the property's spotless condition and the high standard of cleanliness, indicating meticulous maintenance and attention to detail.

The property is appreciated for its peaceful setting and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests note the difficulty of walking into the village, especially with a pram or after dark, due to the lack of pavements.

Reviews highlight the property's comfort, including comfortable beds and seating. The modern yet cosy atmosphere is frequently commended, although a few guests mention that the second bedroom is a bit cramped.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with special mentions of the roof terrace and enclosed garden. Some guests note minor issues with appliance accessibility and the steepness of the staircase to the balcony, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs.

While guests often express gratitude for the welcome pack and the provision of detailed information and walking maps, there are not enough references to gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

The property has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. It is well appointed and spotlessly clean. The owners are friendly and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this property.

The cottage is cosy and warm and very well equipped, and the roof terrace and garden a super bonus. It's in a great location for walks along the canals and downs, and plenty of good places to visit and eat out too.
