In a quiet location on the edge of the village, it is an ideal area for walking and a great base for touring the Wiltshire and Somerset countryside. Lacock village is popular with film producers for its olde worlde charms, and is only 5 miles away. Bowood House and Lydiard House are spectacular mansions with parks and gardens, and the Westonbirt Aboretum is one of the UK’s best. Castle Combe is also nearby. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
