This beautiful, generously sized cottage is set in the award-winning Cockington Country Park less than a mile from Torquay’s vibrant seafront. With over twenty craft studios, a stylish cafe, Tudor rose garden, and contemporary art gallery, Cockington is a very special place indeed, and it’s easy to see why it’s one of Torbay’s most popular destinations. You'll also find a traditional thatched pub right on your doorstep, serving delicious local fayre in a cosy atmosphere.

Step inside and you’ll discover a cosy lounge with a traditional wood-burner; perfect for relaxing in after a day of activity, and the modern kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with a breakfast bar and seating for two. Enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon barbecue on the private deck leading from the lounge. Complete with outdoor rattan furniture and a parasol it’s a real suntrap and makes for a fantastic place to catch up on some reading. For those mornings or evenings when you’d like to share a meal together, you’ll find a bright conservatory dining room with a table and seating for four as well as several windows that invite those gorgeous garden views inside.

Two well-appointed bedrooms can be found upstairs on the first floor. Both are elegantly furnished with the master having direct access to the sun deck; a sumptuous king size bed and an en suite bathroom. The second of the two bedrooms has wonderful double aspect views to the village centre, and its twin beds can be made up as a superior king size bed.

A stroll around the grounds will take you along a beautiful tree-lined walkway that leads to the historic manor house at Cockington Court. Enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea or a fresh coffee at the café where you’ll be able to cosy up indoors on colder days; or soak up the sunshine at one of the outdoor tables whilst taking in the estate’s gorgeous surroundings.
