These holiday cottages, The Old Dairy (ref UKC2112) and The Calf Shed (ref UKC2113), are peacefully situated in the grounds of the owners’ farm which is home to sheep and horses. They are both converted barns which have been renovated to a very high standard. They have underfloor heating throughout, and a wonderful wood burner to keep you cosy on cooler evenings. The barns provide an ideal holiday location from which to explore the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire. Nearby, Royal Wootton Bassett is a market town with a good selection of pubs, shops and restaurants. With easy access to the M4 it’s an ideal base for exploring the attractions of Wiltshire and beyond, including Avebury Stone Circle, Stonehenge, Silbury Hill, Bowood House and Gardens, Cotswold Water Park, Lacock Abbey, Westonbirt Arboretum, Castle Coombe, The White Horse hill figures and The Marlborough Downs. Within an hour’s drive you can visit the market town of Marlborough and famous cities of Bath, Bristol, or even Oxford. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.

It was a lovely property, spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The owners were very friendly and helpful. A nice quiet location not too far from local amenities. Would recommend Sally Pusseys pub for excellent meals. Car museum and REME museum worth a visit.
