The National Trust village at Lacock along with some stunning historic houses and gardens including the famous Stourhead Gardens. Away from the countryside take some time to visit some of the Cotswold towns, Bath, Tetbury and Cirencester which are all within easy reach and offer a good selection of boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Take a stroll across the meadow and enjoy the stunning views. This original shepherd s hut has been part of the family for generations and offers a friendly welcome to all that come and stay. Climb the wooden steps to step back in time, the painted wooden interior with colourful furnishings is just perfect, with cosy chairs and the wood burning stove will keep you warm on an autumn evening. There is a simple storage area for coats and boots, and a built in king size bed for a peaceful night s sleep. Outside the hut you will find a well equipped kitchen area with electric two ring hob, a small fridge and BBQ , there is also a separate shower and WC. Wake up to the sound of bird song and take breakfast outside over looking the countryside, or spend a lazy afternoon relaxing in the orchard and for star gazers why not light the fire pit. There is allocated parking for two cars.
