Walk into the cottage and enter into the spacious, bright living area with the stylish, well-equipped kitchen in front of you. The kitchen has contemporary fixtures and fittings as well as more than enough dining furniture. This leads onto the uplifting sitting room, with comfortable seating aplenty and delightful views towards the garden and countryside beyond, it is a great spot to sit and watch the TV of an evening.

Situated at the southern end of the Cotswolds, in rural Wiltshire, close to Gloucestershire. The town was granted Royal patronage in 2011. It has a weekly market as well as shops and inns, providing a touring base from which to explore Wiltshire. The town is close to Lydiard Park, Bowood and Longleat, with Avebury and Stonehenge nearby. The coastal resorts of Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea are just over an hour's drive. Visit Malmesbury and the Cotswold Water Park and with the historic cities of Bath, Oxford and Salisbury all easily accessible, this area really makes an interesting touring centre at any time of the year.

So luxurious, yet comfortable; everything you could need, they have provided. This time, they even provided deers in the evening. The bird table is still the highlight .. spent a small fortune of bird food but worth every penny .. finches, woodpeckers, lots of variety. When you go .. and you definitely should go .. please take some nuts and bits for the birds and the squirrels.

One of the best cottages we have stayed at (we have stayed at many). The bird watching was excellent and watched the parent Greater Spotted Woodpecker feeding suet pellets too their young.

We have had another wonderful break, this is the only holiday lodge we have stayed multiple times and look forward to staying again next year. The cleanliness, facilities and surroundings are fantastic and it is evident no expense is spared to keep the lodge in tip top condition. Karen and Michael are fabulous hosts and take such pride in ensuring guests have a wonderful stay.
