Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds, Fort View offers a serene haven for those seeking a truly rejuvenating retreat. Wake up to the tranquil sounds of nature and spend your days exploring the regions quaint villages, historic landmarks, and breathtaking landscapes.

All on one first floor level, accessed via an external staircase, the sociable open-plan living space incorporates a well-equipped kitchen, dining space and cosy sitting area. With a farmhouse ambience and exposed oak beams throughout; and lovely rural views from the higher vantage point of the first floor.

Two bedrooms sleeping four guests, one with a double bed and the other with twin single beds, share the spacious family bathroom which has a full-size bath with overhead shower.

Guests have access to the shared covered barbecue area, communal gardens and of course are invited to walk around the farm and enjoy the animals. Situated on Woodcock Farm's 36 acres of grazing, meadows and woodland, Fort View is surrounded by the rural beauty of the Cotswolds, with ample walks from the doorstep, indeed The Cotswolds Way National Trail crosses right over the land!

Woodcock Farm prides itself on the maintenance of the wonderful Iron Age hill fort it sits on; running the farm to the most sustainable and environmentally friendly way possible; and meeting the highest standards of animal welfare and support of rare and traditional breeds. PV solar panels on the barn roofs produce the majority of electricity used.

A short drive away you will find the small market town of Chipping Sodbury with its stunning, unusually wide main street and a variety of independent shops and eateries including traditional butchers, artisan bakers and greengrocers.

The bedding is a mixture of feather and non-feather.

Please be aware that there are steps leading to the entrance.

Please note that the rights of way are shared with neighbouring properties and there is a footpath through the farm.

Guests are welcome to join the owners every afternoon when they feed the chickens and ducks, and collect eggs.
