As its name suggests, the apartment was converted from the original grooms quarters and harness room. Located just off the main road into Porlock, the apartment is accessed via a garden path leading to the entrance at the rear of the main house. Open plan living space includes a light and airy sitting, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen contains a freezer, microwave, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge and all accessories/ utensils. Stylish comfy seating, WiFi, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player are all in the living area, and the bedroom is a twin with en-suite shower room.

All bedlinen, towels, heating and electricity are fully inclusive in booking and a starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and essential cleaning materials are available on arrival. Pretty French doors lead out onto a private patio and lawn area with fabulous views across to Hurlestone Point and Selworthy Beacon. Off road parking is on-site for one car. Sorry, no pets please and Groomscott is non-smoking throughout.

Availability information

Weekly booking changeover from May to September is Friday to Friday. Short breaks are available off peak from October to April. Arrival from 4pm, departure by 10am.
