Set in the lovely village of Monksilver, The Old Malthouse was perfectly positioned for our walking holiday along The Coleridge Way. The scenery is spectacular in this area. The cottage is comfortable (just a little too warm overnight for us as storage heaters seem to have little adjustment). Everything needed for our own catering was available. The hosts/booking company gave excellent information and responded efficiently to my messages. Beds, bedding and towels all lovely and clean and loads of hot water available for much needed soaks in the bath after a day’s walking.
