Located in the quiet back streets of the pretty medieval village of Dunster, Mill Haven offers flexible and well-appointed holiday accommodation. A converted bungalow, this detached house benefits from two bedrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor. There is an open-plan living room and a further second living room, as well as a lovely conservatory with a dining area to look over the well-maintained gardens. Mill haven is perfectly situated so you can walk into Dunster to sample all the delights including the imposing Dunster Castle (NT). During early December, the Dunster Candlelight Festival is well worth a visit. There are many highlights to enjoy during your stay in the area. In Minehead, there is the main train station or take the famous West Somerset Steam Railway, which travels along the coast and then inland to Bishops Lydeard. There is also a beach at Minehead and a promenade, where you can enjoy a walk and an ice cream. Take regular bus services along the coast to such highlights as Porlock and Lynton and Lynmouth. If you are coming with children, a day ticket can be purchased for Butlins on the seafront. Great walking opportunities can be found in the area on both the South West Coast Path and within Exmoor National Park. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor to enjoy. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

A comfortable home from home for us to stay in. We were 6 adults and 2 children aged 4 & 6. There was plenty of space for us and the games room with TV and dvd’s was a definite hit with the kids. At full capacity (8 in total), which we were, we thought the fridge and freezer could have been bigger. We all arrived independently at Mill Haven and it was good to be able to park all three cars on the driveway. That said, thinking ahead perhaps, a charging point for the 2 electric vehicles, would have been a great addition. We had to find places in Minehead to recharge 2 of the 3 cars during our stay, all of which had limited charging time (3-4hours) at a time. All in all, a well equipped family home and we enjoyed our stay. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar and a carrot cake on arrival, as well as a welcome visit from Caroline, the owner, were very much appreciated. I would recommend Mill Haven for family and other stays and we would book again as a family to stay here.

A beautiful home, very well located. We'd not been to Dunster before, but found it utterly charming, and with this house being virtually by the back entrance to the castle via the watermill and tea rooms, yet also within moments of open countryside via Gallox Bridge it was the ideal location for us.

Very peaceful location. Good selection of pubs & places to eat in walking distance but check opening days/times first & prebook if poss. The house was perfect for us but could have been a bit cleaner. Plenty of space for 2 & storage for bikes in games room. Description says parking for 2/3 cars but would have to be small cars & lane is narrow so tricky turning in
