Set in the heart of Exmoor in the owners own land which they encourage you to use freely, including their own garden with a magnificent pond. The cottage is well equipped and deceptively large for a one bedroomed place. The area has so much to offer and a week simply wasn't long enough to see everything. Thanks so much Jo and Adrian.

We did raise an issue with them on departure regarding four very large spiders in the property and as my wife is an arachnophobe it was not the best of experiences and we did not agree with the practice of leaving doors and windows open between guests visits as this allows the spiders and fly's which were also in the property to get in. The wi-fi was also intermittent in operation and did not link up with the tv to allow catch up tv, this I did not mention as it seemed irrelevant at the time. On a positive note the property was very comfortable, spacious with all the facilities from home to home. The shower was very good and the bed mattress excellent. So many properties we hire have appallingly cheap mattresses and you wake up in the morning in agony. This mattress was first class and allowed us a good nights sleep (apart from the spider worries).
