Dunster Working Watermill, Minehead Beach, and Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre are all easily accessible from the village. Lynton and Barnstaple are both worth a visit in Devon. Wootton Courtenay is a great base for exploring the area.

It was so quiet and relaxing and in a great position for dog walks and places nearby to visit. We didn't have the best weather but the scenery is stunning when the sun did come out and so was the wildlife. We would definitely return and can highly recommend it.

Beautiful views from the garden, including regular visits from the local small herd of wild red deer. Plenty of walks from the door along local bridle ways, my favourite took me onto moorland. Plenty of restaurants in nearby Dunster and a good local shop in Wootton Courtney for the basics.
