Set in the hamlet of Treborough within the Exmoor National Park, just a short distance from the village of Roadwater and the coastal town of Watchet, this superb getaway is ideal for touring a glorious area of Somerset. The area is considered famous for star-gazing having been designated a "Dark Skies" location due to it's extremely low light pollution and is Europe's first Dark Skies Reserve. Nestled into a hill, this stunning detached cottage offers a spacious lounge, with plenty of sumptuous seating, encouraging guests to kick back and relax into a well-deserved holiday.

The kitchen benefits a contemporary selection of fixtures and fittings along with a dining area for gathering at mealtimes. High vaulted ceilings with interesting exposed beams are featured in both the kitchen and sitting room, adding character to an elegant framework. This unique style of accommodation comprises a set of twin beds on the ground floor, which are zip and link offering flexible sleeping arrangements, whilst the lower ground floor boasts a king-size double. Both have en-suite facilities and an immaculate presentation with neutral colour schemes. Venture out on the decking or enjoy an evening sitting out in the warm summer air on the patio, this tranquil area has much to offer in terms of peace and quiet.

Less than 10 minutes drive away is nearby Wimbleball Lake, well known for its nature trails, off-road cycling tracks, kayaking & canoeing, wind sailing and facilities including a cafe, children's play area and high ropes. However, if it is a spot of hustle and bustle you seek during your stay, make your way to the harbour town of Watchet; steeped in history it offers a variety of shops and a colourful marina. There are superb walks along the coast, as well as the Brendon Hills and Exmoor to be explored. This excellent location can be enjoyed from a stunning base.

Watchet is a Somerset harbour town with a maritime history going back over two millennia, where visitors may enjoy the variety of shops on offer and watch the boats in the marina. Watchet attracts railway enthusiasts from all around, as The West Somerset Railway, twenty miles of preserved steam railway, passes through and continues through to the coastal town of Minehead, approximately nine miles away. There are walks along the coast, while towards St Audries in the east, the Quantock Hills rise to 1,000 feet above the sea and the Brendon Hills and Exmoor are to the west, within easy reach.
