About this Holiday Cottage

Welcome to Carolina Cottage, a beautifully appointed seafront fisherman's cottage in Minehead which boasts fabulous sea-views and accommodation for up to seven people. Ideal for families or walkers exploring the South West Coast Path, the cottage has two bath/ shower rooms, excellent kitchen facilities and a terraced garden ideal for enjoying the views and al fresco dining. Two dogs are also welcome by prior arrangement. 

Inside

The accommodation at Carolina Cottage includes a spacious 16 foot entrance hallway and a cosy lounge with stone inglenook fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also a family dining area along with modern kitchen facilities such as washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, gas hob, coffee maker and fridge/ freezer.

Two first floor double bedrooms, each with beautiful sea-views

First floor family bathroom

Second floor triple bedroom with a double bed and single bed

Ensuite shower room with WC and hand basin 

Outside

The terraced rear garden is set over three levels and includes a patio off the kitchen/ dining room which is a real sun trap. A table and chairs are provided and the level above has a small grassed area with shrubs. The final top level boasts fabulous views over the Bristol Channel and hills towards Dunster Folly.

The sea and beach can be found right opposite the cottage, across the road, and the sandy section of beach is a just a couple of minutes walk away.  

Other Things to Note

The rental charge includes bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, heating and electricity. Please bring your own beach towels if they are required. A parking permit is provided for on-street parking for one car and free parking for a second car can be found closeby. There is also chargeable car parking available locally. 

The cottage is stocked with a supply of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits plus basic cleaning materials and one or two loo rolls. 

Availability

Short breaks of three nights or more are welcome at certain times of the year or may be available as last minute stays. Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £15 each per stay. Dog blankets will be provided to cover furniture and please do not leave your pet alone in the cottage or allow them upstairs. 

Arrival time is after 4pm and please vacate by 10am on your departure day.
