Mill Cottage is a detached barn conversion that sleeps up to 6 guests (plus cot). The property is situated on a working farm within Exmoor National Park; it is nestled in an idyllic valley between the Brendon Hills and the Exmoor coast and countryside.
Accommodation
The first floor is accessed from the rear of the property through the boot room/cloak room with stone tiled flooring. A glassed doorway leads to a spacious living room/dining room with wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and CD player/radio and free wifi is available throughout the cottage. The large window takes advantage of the far-reaching valley views. The staircase has a stair gate.
The newly fitted kitchen-dining room with Aga is accessed from the living area and is well-equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. The dual aspect windows look out over farmland. There is an additional toilet with hand basin on the first floor.
A travel cot and high chair can be provided, please request this when you make your booking. Please note, only a bottom sheet will be provided for the cot, other bedding will not be provided.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Mill Cottage is fitted with oil-fired central heating and there is a wood-burning stove in the living room for cosy evenings in during the cooler months. Fire-wood will be provided.

Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Bed linen is not supplied for the cot.
A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and milk (and cake!) is provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
A small amount of cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided for each toilet.
Mill Cottage is strictly non-smoking.

Three generations stayed at Mill Cottage for a Christmas break and we had a lovely stay. Mill Cottage is one of a few properties on the farm but it genuinely does feel like you have so much space to yourselves, as the windows of Mill Cottage all look out towards the large garden, stream and hills be.... The rooms are larger in 'real life' than the photos suggested, with the kitchen especially large (and very warm!) with a large table in the centre which easily accommodated us all and our Christmas dinner! We appreciated the decorated tree and the mince pies on arrival, thank you
