Mill Cottage is a detached barn conversion that sleeps up to 6 guests (plus cot). The property is situated on a working farm within Exmoor National Park; it is nestled in an idyllic valley between the Brendon Hills and the Exmoor coast and countryside.
Accommodation
The first floor is accessed from the rear of the property through the boot room/cloak room with stone tiled flooring. A glassed doorway leads to a spacious living room/dining room with wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and CD player/radio and free wifi is available throughout the cottage. The large window takes advantage of the far-reaching valley views. The staircase has a stair gate.
The newly fitted kitchen-dining room with Aga is accessed from the living area and is well-equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. The dual aspect windows look out over farmland. There is an additional toilet with hand basin on the first floor.
A travel cot and high chair can be provided, please request this when you make your booking. Please note, only a bottom sheet will be provided for the cot, other bedding will not be provided.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Mill Cottage is fitted with oil-fired central heating and there is a wood-burning stove in the living room for cosy evenings in during the cooler months. Fire-wood will be provided.

Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. Bed linen is not supplied for the cot.
A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and milk (and cake!) is provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
A small amount of cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and washing powder will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided for each toilet.
Mill Cottage is strictly non-smoking.

Everything was clean and tidy. The beds were really comfortable and all the facilities were in a good condition The garden in the evening was lovely and relaxing

One of those where the pictures didn't really do the property full justice, we were all very pleasantly surprised by the size and spaciousness - it's a lovely building that has been very simply but tastefully furnished, and is really very comfortable throughout. Our stay (5 nights) wasn't really lon.... Our stay (5 nights) wasn't really long enough to fully relax into the surroundings, but there is a lovely walk across fields and through woodland to the local pub, which I wish we had more chance to do more than once!

The house was lovely, nice and peaceful and my dog loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were really helpful. Hope to go back again
