Wimbleball Lake offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails and is just under two miles away. The towns of Dulverton (4.5 miles) and Bampton (8 miles) offer a range of amenities. If you fancy a day on the beach, explore the North Devon coastline with its small coves and sandy beaches, or Minehead (13 miles) on the Somerset coast. Other places of interest in the area include the pretty villages of Porlock and the harbour town of Watchet, both 13 miles, and the medieval village of Dunster with its fascinating castle is 10 miles.
Enter the property into the welcoming hallway, the perfect place to hang coats and store shoes after a countryside walk. From here, head into the lounge which boasts comfortable seating and a Smart TV it is a lovely room to relax in after a busy day out exploring. The well equipped kitchen/diner has everything you need to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is a small dining area where you can enjoy mealtimes together. Completing the ground floor is a handy cloakroom with WC. Outside, to the front of the property, is an enclosed courtyard with a patio, garden furniture and a gas BBQ, it is the perfect space for relaxing with your favourite tipple on a warm summer's evening. There is also off road parking for two cars (additional parking can be found in the pub car park subject to availability).
