The Cart Shed is a bunkhouse for up to 4 guests, located on a working hill farm on the Brendon Hills on the edge of Exmoor. The property is rural and remote, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts! Use as a base for your outdoor adventures. The Cart Shed sleeps up to 4 guests in bunk beds
Accommodation
There's a couple of stone steps up to the front door, once inside the accommodation is open-plan. Directly ahead is the kitchen area, which includes and electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, plus cookware, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Basic supplies such as salt, pepper, oil, tea towels and washing up liquid are provided.
There's a table and 4 chairs, plus comfortable chairs for sitting by the wood-burner. The two sets of bunk beds are at the far end. The separate shower room comprises a corner shower unit, hand basin and toilet.
There's no wifi and limited mobile phone signal available due to the rural location of the property.
Bottom sheet and mattresses are provided on the beds, please bring your own bedding - sleeping bag and pillows are recommended, but of course you could being your duvet is you prefer! Please bring your own towels.

Definitely worth a revisit! Location is stunning and even though it was pretty chilly outside, particularly for April, the barn was both snug, warm and spacious. Ali was very warm, welcoming and relaxed. Very friendly yet respected my privacy. The road entry to the farm was as described, steep and .... Definitely worth a revisit! Very friendly yet respected my privacy. The road entry to the farm was as described, steep and bumpy. I love off-road but it is definitely wise to take it slow if you don’t have 4x4. In fact, it makes it more special and remote reaching the destination. It was sooo nice to have fresh flowers in the jug and a barrel full of wood for the fire stove. The shower has got power too. Fab location, especially if you’re needing a topup of nature, close to the Wimbleball Lake and much cheaper than one would expect to pay for what you get. Thank you so much Ali.
