The Pony Stalls, near Brompton Regis is a recently converted stone-built barn on a working farm in the Brendon Hills on Exmoor, just a stones throw from Wimbleball Lake which is within easy walking distance. Sleeping up to 6 guests in three rooms, it's well-suited to families.
Accommodation
The cottage is fitted with all new appliances and the kitchen is well-equipped with electric range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with a selection of complementary pods to get you started. Also, there is a good supply of cookware, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
The living area has a television and DVD player with Free sat, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property at no extra cost. An iron and ironing board, and hairdryer are provided for your convenience.
There are also TV's in the lounge [with sofa bed] and in the main bedroom upstairs.
If you intend to use the sofa-bed, please make a note on your booking so that it will be prepared accordingly for you.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Central heating is fitted throughout the property and there is underfloor heating on the ground floor with radiators upstairs.
Bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring outdoor/beach towels if you wish to take them with you on day trips.

We had such a great time visiting Exmoor with the Pony Stalls as our base. It was a home from home experience, with everything provided that we could want. We love how it had been furnished and decorated - everything was in character with the property, it was beautiful. We wouldn’t hesitate to rec.... The house itself it absolutely beautiful and furnished to the highest standard. Couldn't possibly fault it! The location is wonderful, definitely take the walk out from The Pony Stalls round the lake to the dam and then on into Brompton Regis (sadly the George didn't open until 5pm - would have been.... The location is wonderful, definitely take the walk out from The Pony Stalls round the lake to the dam and then on into Brompton Regis (sadly the George didn't open until 5pm - would have been lovely to pop in, but we did get yummy treats at the village shop) about 8km walk. Really recommend the house to anyone, it's wonderful.

The Pony Stables is a lovely property, it's very comfortable and cosy, great for relaxing in and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's in a beautiful, peaceful location and the hosts Jeremy and Angela were so welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time staying there. ....
