Snaptrip says

Guests have enjoyed their stays at The Barn, appreciating its warm, cosy atmosphere and suitability for family gatherings. The farm setting with animals and nearby attractions adds to its charm. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall experience is positive, with the hosts receiving praise for their warmth and helpfulness.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The Barn is generally clean with important areas well-maintained, though some guests mentioned cobwebs and dust. The towels and linens received mixed feedback, with some finding them less than fresh.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and proximity to attractions. The farm setting and nearby walks are particularly appreciated, though the approach via a single track lane is noted.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm and welcoming. Some guests mentioned low ceilings and rickety furniture, but overall the comfort level is high.

Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water. However, some guests noted issues with lighting, Wi-Fi, and maintenance tasks that could enhance the stay.

While the hosts are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided.

Only issues were we had a person with walking difficulties so found it hard to get up and down steps also shower not easy. Took two toddlers who loved the farm animals and it was close to attractions.Nice warm property lots of hot water and a nice quiet location

However the external appearance of the property was somewhat different. The image used must have been from when the property was first listed. It has now become somewhat overgrown and the outdoor table, chairs and the area it was in,was unusable. If we had rented the property in summer it would have been very disappointing not to have an outside area to sit/ eat in.

Weather was terrible, but then it was January, and the Barn was lovely and warm.
