Located on a working organic farm, this stunning Somerset glamping site contains five tents and is bound to be a hit with all ages. Settle into your luxury safari tent, complete with wood-fired hot tub and surrounded by the unspoilt Somerset countryside, and feel your stress drift away. If you’re travelling with friends or family, book more than one tent for a perfect group break.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and yet close to many fun days out and transport links, this Kittisford Barton glamping site is the best of both worlds. The farm has over 260 acres of ponds, woodland, fields and trails, and a real sense of peace and tranquillity. Our low pitch numbers and generous spacing between tents provides a genuine feeling of exclusivity and maintains that precious peace and quiet throughout the site.

Your spacious safari tent can comfortably sleep up to six people, with three separate bedrooms – one with a king-size bed, one twin room and the third with bunk beds. It is also possible to hire a travel cot to place in any of the bedrooms.

In addition, there’s a gas-powered shower and WC, so no need to stumble across the site to visit the bathroom during the night! You can sit and eat at your own inside wooden table and chairs, or relax on the comfortable sofas. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen area, complete with double gas hob and working sink. Last but not least, the tent is kept cosy and warm thanks to the wood burning stove, which also has space to cook on.

Outside, you can sit on the porch, watch the world go by and enjoy the tranquillity of this peaceful site. Light up the outdoor firepit and toast marshmallows, or cook yourself an evening meal over the flames. All the tents even have the option of a wood-fired hot tub! It’s the perfect combination of modern comfort and the great outdoors, and you’re bound to leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. There is no electricity at the site, making this an ideal opportunity to switch off and spend quality time with the people you love.

Inside:

Living area

Comfortable sitting area with corner sofa, coffee table and large wood burning stove (unlimited wood included). Views out over the porch and across the site. Candles and lanterns supplied throughout to light the tent.

Kitchen/dining area

Wooden table with seating for six. Well-equipped kitchen with sink, double gas hob, cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. Cool box for storing food, with free ice packs available from site shop.

Shower room

Separate WC and shower room. All fully plumbed with hot and cold running water. Towels provided.

Bedroom one

Wooden king-size bed (bedding supplied) with two bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Bedroom two

Twin wooden single beds (bedding supplied) and storage.

Bedroom three

Wooden bunk beds (bedding supplied) and storage.

Outside:

Front terrace with outdoor seating and coffee table. Firepit in front of tent.

Additional Information:

Travel Cots and highchairs available on request (small additional charge).

Up to four well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).

The tents all have a hot tub which can be added on for an extra charge of £75 for a three or four night stay, or £120 for a week stay. Please add this on to your booking on the booking form. Please note, the charge will be £0 on booking but the site manager will invoice you directly for the hot tub.
