Closer to home, situated in the small charming hamlet of Staple Cross, which is centrally located to the town of Tiverton which boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day. Walkers will be spoilt for choice and in their element with the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks all within each reach. There are also a number of National Trust Properties in the area including Knightshayes and the Killerton. Wimbleball Lake is 15 miles and offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails. Beach lovers can explore the Devon coastline with its small coves and sandy beaches including pretty seaside resorts of Sidmouth, Exmouth and Branscombe there are many beaches to explore within a 30 mile drive. This immaculate property is perfect for those who want to get away from it all with views across fields and to Exmoor in the distance.
