The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy and well-kept. However, a few comments suggest room for improvement in the provision of cleaning materials and the condition of some kitchen utensils.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful scenery, and accessibility to local sights. It serves as an excellent base for exploring Somerset's countryside and coast, although some guests noted the need to drive to access walks and villages.
Comfort is a strong point, with guests enjoying the spacious and homely feel of the property. However, there are mentions of a soft mattress affecting sleep quality and a suggestion to bleed the radiators, indicating some areas that could enhance comfort further.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being equipped for a comfortable stay. Some guests have suggested the addition of a few more cleaning materials and the replacement of worn kitchen items, which indicates a need for attention to maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience with the hosts and mention a welcoming bottle of wine, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities are provided to all guests.

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The place was clean and had everything necessary, with plenty of local places to visit. An added bonus was us catching the weather just right (March 3-10), after months of cold and rain; a week of sunshine! If you want a time of peace and quiet to relax and unwind, this is the place for you.

Very convenient for Quantocks, Exmoor and Kilve beach.

This was our second visit to the property, and just like before, it was clean, welcoming and so warm and cosy in what ended up being a very cold week. The kitchen had everything that we needed for a week away. We were down in Somerset visiting family and friends and it was a perfect base. Thank you! Hope to come again.
