About this Bed and Breakfast

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside near Taunton, Capland Farm Bed & Breakfast is a Grade II listed building dating from the early 1800's. Full of charm and character, our farmhouse offers two guest rooms ideal for couples or families with other facilities including plenty of parking, a large lawn garden. We welcome children of all ages, but we cannot accept dogs.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Room one is a double room with views over the courtyard and countryside. An additional single bed can be placed in this room on request. Room two is a double/twin/family room which offers open views over the surrounding countryside. This room offers one double and one single bed. Both rooms are well equipped with an ensuite shower , tea/coffee making facilities, digital TV, radio alarm clock, plenty of storage space, dressing table/desk, free wifi service and a hair dryer. Ironing facilities can be provided on request and washing/drying facilities are available at an extra charge.

Breakfast

We serve a locally sourced breakfast which includes eggs from our own chickens and cream teas and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement at an extra charge.

Other Facilities

 The dining room is available for guest's to enjoy evening take-away meals in and we supply crockery, cutlery etc.  Walkers and cyclists are very welcome and we offer bike storage and motorcycle parking on site.

We provide a convenient base for exploring Somerset and the nearby Jurassic coast including Lyme Regis Charmouth, Sidmouth, Beer, Seaton and Exmouth.

Directions

We are conveniently located just off the A358, 5 minutes from the A303 and the lovely market town of Ilminster. The M5 (J25) and Taunton are a mere 10 minutes away, this makes Capland Farm an ideal stopover for those heading further south or west.
