Set within the beautiful Somerset countryside, this exceptional holiday villa is the ultimate in glamour and playfulness; creating a magical world where children and grown-ups can both unwind and have fun together in equal measure.

Superbly spacious and incredibly well thought out, Halula Hills neglects not an iota of detail when it comes to luxury: think five-star boutique hotel meets magical play land; where living areas and book nooks as well as a sprawling garden that seems to tumble into the landscape beyond, offer all the space one's heart could desire. There’s a kitchen so fully equipped it’d be hard for a celebrity chef’s own home to top it, and indulgent touches like a coffee and doughnut corner. Crisp white walls and high gloss surfaces contrast with splashes of brightly coloured furnishings; sleek marble floors juxtapose soft velour sofas, and shaggy rugs nestle beneath boldly printed wallpaper. There are unexpected and deliciously moreish design elements too; like the canary yellow piano in the tropically decorated hallway and the ultra-chic circle fireplace that wouldn't look out of place in a Bond movie.

Seven fantastic bedrooms (and we do mean fantastic!) provide a calm place to retreat to, where parents can nap or read a book and children can get lost in their imaginations. Girls can choose between the Mermaid Suite with its shimmering fishtail headboard and all things mermaidy, or the Unicorn Suite with its private balcony and beanbags with scatter cushions. For boys there’s the Dinosaur Suite where everything from the bedding to the night light is Jurassic, while for grown-ups there are rooms like the Cloud Suite which has sliding doors opening on to a wonderful private balcony with curvaceously hilly views.

Chockers with toys and games, children will delight in the discovery of the playtime treasures that are dotted about the property. There's an outdoor car slide for racing toys on and a wooden doll's house for hours of play, while younger children will enjoy block-building on the Duplo table and taking turns to ride on the rocking horse. And when sleepy heads are put to bed it’s time for parents to meander down to the Cinema Room where a night at the movies awaits. Reclining sofas, bean bags and faux furs set the mood for a big screen experience so grab some popcorn and settle in for a romantic classic or two (sorry guys!)

On the lower level you’ll find a spacious indoor heated pool as well as a ten-seater hot tub, so that even on wetter days there’s ample opportunity to enjoy a dip. Outside there are several balconies including the lowest level space that has an enormous granite dining table and chairs; just right for fresh air celebrations and family feasts. The tiered garden with its fab multicoloured lawn, is strewn with occasional seating and tables of every kind, with picnic benches and brollies for enjoying barbecues, and beanbags and loungers for soaking up the sun on. And when the evenings draw in, the covered outdoor chill out lounge with its fire bowl and strung fairy lights is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or a hot chocolate al-fresco.

Middle garden tier

This level is where the heated indoor swimming pool is located as well as the ten seater electric hot tub. This room also has a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a cloakroom with WC and hand basin. It has access out to the astro-turf garden through large sliding doors, where there is also a wall-mounted basketball hoop

A covered chill-out zone with bench seating and central table as well as fire bowl is the perfect place to hang out and watch the sun set

Bottom garden tier

This level has a kids play area with a climbing frame and slide as well as giant trampoline and picnic tables for informal dining

Additional garden items include three tall tables and stool seating as well as sun-loungers, rattan furniture, bean bags, charcoal BBQ and an outdoor shower
