The master bedroom upstairs boasts a comfortable double bed, while the second bedroom offers twin beds to suit your needs.
Outside, enjoy the enchanting walled and fenced cottage garden, a perfect spot for strolls or morning coffee. From April to October, the tennis court is available for a friendly match, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the friendly pet sheep and other farm animals. As the evening sets in, head to the open-fronted barn, thoughtfully set up for barbecues after 4pm, and enjoy alfresco dining in this idyllic rural setting.

Lovely house, full of character lots of nooks and crannys. Well equipped. Gorgeous unusual outside spaces and access to the big house gardens which are fantastic.We loved our stay. Wonderful central location for visits to Yeovil, bridport, Beaminster, Chard, highly recommend Mapperton House and gardens, Sherborne castle & grounds. Crewkerne has supermarket & lovely shops.

Unfortunately, we experienced a number of basic cleanliness issues and an overwhelming smell of mustiness and dog urine. The property has carpets and rugs in the lounge and bedrooms and they have clearly been abused by guests' pets in the past. We decided to leave 2 days early as we couldn't neutrelize the odour despite buying lots of Febreeze and opening as many windows as possible. On a positive note, Judith is a welcoming host who allows guests to use the facilities and grounds around the main house. The location is also very private and ideal for countryside walks.We would have loved to have scored the holiday higher but, in comparison to the many properties we have stayed in over the last 10 years, we couldn't justify even an average score of 3.

Manor Lodge is a very pretty little cottage in lovely surroundings, in the middle of North Perrott. Judith was the hostess with mostess and very welcoming. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, my only feedback would be, a larger fridge freezer so you don't have to shop everyday and, maybe cater for people with a larger frame, I found most of the furniture uncomfortable after a while. Judith still gets 10/10
