The great thing about this location is that you are close to the borders where three beautiful counties meet Somerset Devon and Dorset. The amazing Jurassic Coast runs along the length of the east Devon coast from Budleigh Salterton into Dorset at Lyme Regis and from there on towards Chesil Beach. Inland there is much to do with historic houses dotting the gentle countryside. From the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels to the wide expanses of the Quantock Hills leading to the west Somerset coast there are great outings for all. You could spend an afternoon fishing at the nearby Chard reservoir or visit Chard equestrian centre that is within walking distance. There is even a spa and golf course just a short drive away where you can buy a day pass to use many of the facilities. You are welcomed into the beautiful accommodation through the front door via the kitchen. You can hang coats and store muddy boots after a countryside walk in the utility room that houses the washing machine. You will then be greeted by the large lounge/diner which has two sets of french windows opening onto the attractive gardens beyond. In the lounge you can relax on the comfy sofa while watching your favourite programme or film on the TV/DVD. From here enter the well-equipped galley style kitchen which has an electric hob and oven fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. Heading upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms accommodating three guests both with unspoilt countryside views across the valley. The king-size bedroom has floor to ceiling windows so you can lie in bed and enjoy the views. This room has a large en-suite bathroom with bath separate shower and WC. The second bedroom has a double bed and access to an excellent sized bathroom with bath shower and a WC. Venturing outside there is an enclosed courtyard to the front of the cottage and to the back is a sheltered patio with seating and beautiful gardens a great place to sit out and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Additionally guests have access to the owner s 24 acres of land with footpaths trickling streams that lead to a pond and superior countryside views. The cottage adjoins the owner s home but is very private you will have a shared private driveway with off-road parking available for 1 car. Property is situated at the end of a single track lane.
