The lodge itself was lovely and clean, the only complaint we had was the mattress on the main bed was extremely soft and lumpy and so was somewhat uncomfortable. Karen was lovely and was a great help in fixing a small issue with the hot tub, although we were unable to use it during the first day as the previous visitors had very kindly worn fake tan in it, so needed to be fully drained, cleaned and refilled which was disappointing.Onto the negatives, there were a few issues with the surrounding area as mentioned in other reviews. The main one being the construction work going on to other lodges on the park, for example several workmen building the decking for the lodge next door with the radio on loudly from 9am to 5pm on one day, which made us feel uncomfortable to use the hot tub or sit on our decking. The digging being done at the far end of the park was also a bit disruptive and noisy along with the lorries going to and from there. The lack of facilities on site was also a bit of a disappointment, my partner was looking forward to be able to use the spa but it was closed, as was the restaurant and bar.As others have said, this will be a lovely park once it's completed, however I think it should be made clear in the park listing that work is going on and there may be noise - it would be a good idea to avoid working on lodges where there is an occupied lodge next to it. It would also be helpful to know before booking that the spa/restaurant is only available from a certain date/time.
