It overlooks the golf course but this doesn’t cause any noise. There is a variety of wildlife however which was an unexpected bonus. The lodge it’s self is very comfortable.Light and spacious with everything you would need for a short break or a longer stay. The beds are comfortable and temperature control is easy. Would love to have been there in a really hot spell as the air con is amazing. Have to also comment on the welcome pack, that was quite special thank you. Very short distance to the beach which is lovely for walking along, it is tidal and goes out a long way so if you want to swim you need to be aware of tide times! A lovely place for a holiday.

The lodge is finished to a very high standard and the owners have thought about everything you could possibly need to stay there comfortably. The welcome hamper was a wonderful treat as we arrived and very much appreciated after a long drive. The views from the lodge are spectacular. There is lots to do within a 10 minute walk. Brean Beach is only 10 minutes away and there are plenty of places to visit if willing to drive. We will certainly be retuning to Fairways 34 in the future.

The lodge is a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, shower AND bath. The Nespresso machine was put to good use but the air conditioning in the bedrooms was the cherry on the cake! There was a good selection of games in the living area which occupied us all in the evenings and the furniture on the decking was very comfortable. To access the lodge you drive through a keypad controlled barrier so the whole place feels very safe and secure. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and got things off to a great start following a long journey. The views are beautiful and incredibly relaxing. Watching the swan and cygnet swimming every day was lovely and each evening we were visited by a heron which was very cool. The passing golfers offered good entertainment throughout the day. They're far enough away to not be intrusive but near enough for us to enjoy a spot of people watching. There's lots of grass surrounding the lodges which our children enjoyed playing on and the road around the lodges is incredibly smooth (perfect for a spot scootering!). We ate at the nearby country club (2 minute walk) on several occasions during the week which had a very relaxed atmosphere, served good food and catered for children. The nearby entertainment is definitely worth a visit too. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and the theme park but it was so nice to know that we had the tranquility of the lodge just a 5 minute walk away when we'd had enough. The nearby site had a mini-market (10 minute walk) but we found ourselves getting any bits we needed from Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare which are only a short drive away. We would highly recommend Fairways 34!
