Lovely cosy and comfortable, everything we needed. Vicky was extremely helpful with recommendations and I was lucky enough to have booked the same time as Bridgewater Carnival which was Spectacular highly recommended this event to everyone.

Overall, we had a good experience and an enjoyable holiday. The accommodation was spacious, clean and tidy. We particularly liked the quiet, privacy and the amount of land around the barn. By comparison our criticisms are minor but worthy of mention. Upon arrival it was off-putting that both sets of patio doors needed rubbing down and painting/staining.Only two toilet rolls were provided. The lack of a dishwasher did not concern me but it would have been nice if a brush or scrubber was provided in addition to the one very small "J" cloth. This was the first cottage we have visited where there was no guest book for feedback.The location was good for visiting Dunster and the West Somerset Railway but more locally there were not a lot of amenities with local pubs closed during the day. However, ideal for a quiet break in the countryside!

The Barn itself is very nice and well presented. Very large grounds for our dog to run around and a shallow stream for him to cool off in. The local area is beautiful but extremely rural, so a short drive is required for almost everything, including local shops, pubs and nature walks. Overall, a wonderful, peaceful break with good accommodation at a nice location.
