Guests are charmed by the peaceful, rural setting and the luxurious touches of Primrose Cottage. The property boasts stunning views, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large, inviting hot tub. Comfort is highlighted with very clean premises and the most comfortable beds, contributing to a relaxing stay. Homemade cakes and a bottle of wine on arrival add a personal touch, though such gifts are kindly offered at the owner's discretion.
Reviews consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The location is praised for its beautiful countryside views and tranquility, though one review notes the necessity of a car and the lack of safe pedestrian access.
The majority of guests found the property very comfortable, mentioning comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere, although one review felt it lacked warmth and privacy.
Facilities are highly rated, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen and the excellent hot tub, but no specific mention of maintenance issues.
While guests appreciate the homemade cakes and wine, there is not enough information to score thoughtfulness as these gifts are not guaranteed and may not be a consistent offering.

We have just come back from an amazing week at Bincombe cottages, from the minute we walked through the door we were wowed. The cottage has been designed with everything you could need for a perfect stay it was so clean and had all high spec details and family friendly, the location is fantastic for a rural countryside escape with lots of places to visit near by and right by the Quantock hills so perfect for a stroll in the countryside. Jackie the owner of the cottage was amazing she goes above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay you must try her homemade meals they are delicious we had them on a few nights and it really made a difference to our stay to have some meals I didn’t have to cook and she even delivered them at a time we asked for hot and ready to eat. We can’t wait to come back next year.

We can see why Primrose appeals to many, and it’s clear others have enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The accommodation felt very large but lacked warmth, comfort, and privacy. It was spacious, yes—but with little character, it didn’t feel particularly inviting. It’s also worth noting that a car is essential. There’s nowhere safe to walk from the property, with narrow lanes and high hedges making pedestrian access difficult and potentially unsafe. That said, there were some definite positives: the hot tub was excellent, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable.
