About this property
Door Mouse Pod is our only glamping pod and is designed and built to be fully wheelchair accessible and dog friendly with an outdoor hot tub, decking area and wet room. It comfortably sleeps two adults and still feels spacious enough to enjoy the living area and outside space. The kitchen area has a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and sink with access for a wheelchair. All our lodges have a built-in smart TV and free wi-fi should you wish to enjoy a cosy night in. Outside is surrounded by beautiful, enclosed decking and a hot tub partially sunken for easy access, all of this in a secluded corner to make the most of the peace and quiet.. Henfields Country Retreat is part of our Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection and is nestled in the foothills of the Quantock Hills with panoramic views of the Mendips and Somerset levels. Designed to ensure guests have a luxurious stay whether you are here for a romantic break or a getaway for the family.
The site is located in walking distance of the local village where you will be able to find somewhere to eat and drink or even just to pick up something from the local shop. After a day exploring the countryside via the popular footpaths or even visiting the local 18 hole golf course, you can retreat to your open plan living accommodation and enjoy the hot tub with the spectacular countryside views.. Love the staff, fantastic people who run it and work there. They regularly check that you’re ok or if you need help and go above and beyond. We love comimg here but do feel it’s slightly over priced especially the pod. The views are fantastic, the lodges and pod are clean and quite well equipped. As a wheelchair user there needs to be a couple of changes made to the pod to help but I was asked how I was coping, I gave my feedback and they listened. We will definitely come back as absolutely adore the staff.
