Guests consistently praise the holiday rental for its superb location, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches such as a generous welcome pack. The property is described as comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully presented, with many visitors returning for multiple stays. The proximity to local attractions and the peacefulness despite being in the centre of Wells are frequently highlighted.
Reviewers repeatedly mention the property being spotlessly clean upon arrival, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the overall positive experience.
The location is universally acclaimed for its idyllic setting on Cathedral Green, central to Wells, with easy access to local sites and amenities, and the added bonus of parking.
The property is frequently described as comfortable, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests noted that seating could be improved, slightly affecting the score.

A picture-perfect house situated in the heart of a busy little city – the smallest in England. Dating from the 15th Century, this Grade II listed house lies within the Liberty of the Cathedral which it overlooks and has been refurbished with stylish flair to create a modern and very comfortable holiday home.
Accessed via a wrought iron gate into the south facing front garden with wonderful cathedral views. A backdoor from the kitchen leads into a small courtyard and rear entrance, leading to the parking space at the rear.
The famous West Front of the Cathedral provides a backdrop to this two storey terraced property, from where everything the city has to offer is within easy walking distance. Wells lies on the southern tip of a triangle with Bath and Bristol to the north. The 13th Century Cathedral, with 300 statues on the spectacular West Front, is the jewel of the city but there are many other visitor attractions including the nearby 14th Century moated Bishop’s Palace and the Vicars Close – said to be the oldest continually inhabited street in Europe. However, the modern world is here too, including a bustling twice weekly farmers' market selling a wide variety of local produce. If you don’t want to cook, there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town’s pretty streets.
Additional Information:
Fabulous location, central to all Wells has to offer.
Sorry, no pets.
Infant under 6 months of age in own moses basket welcome. Children over 11 years are welcome.
Whilst the medium car sized parking space is adjoining the property, please be aware, it is approached from the rear. Your arrival guide will give full instructions.
