About this Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to The Coach House Bed & Breakfast in Dulcote. Situated just short walk from the attractions of Wells, guests staying at our beautiful country retreat can enjoy use of the entire two bedroom cottage which combines the best bits of self catering and bed and breakfast accommodation. A sumptuous breakfast is provided which includes eggs from our own garden hens.

Romantic breaks, business stays and girls weekends are all welcome along with families with older children. 

The Accommodation

Perfect for couples, families and small groups, this self contained accommodation has a large double bedroom with additional sofa bed for flexibility, a twin bedroom, a shower room and a ground floor living room with another sofa bed. The kitchen is well appointed with a washing machine, tumble dryer, small dishwasher, hoover, ironing board plus a range of condiments and cleaning materials. Freeview TV, a DVD player and CD player can also be found at the cottage.

Heating, White Company towels and crisp cotton bed linen are included in the rental price.

Breakfast

You will find the fridge well stocked for your breakfast with bacon, sausages, free range eggs from our own hens, yoghurt and fruit juice provided. We also supply croissants, cereals plus a stock of tea and coffee and everything is either sourced locally, organic, Fairtrade or plain delicious!

Other Facilities

Guests can enjoy use of free dedicated Wi-Fi, plenty of free parking and a lovely terrace seating area. There is also space for guests wishing to bring their bike. 

Food hampers from Somerset Local Food Direct can be delivered to the Coach House with options including their Holiday Cottage Boxes.

Availability

The rate is £100 for two people sharing one room in the cottage and a minimum two night stay applies. Extra people are charged at £40 each and there is a £10 supplement for two people using two separate rooms. Prices may differ at peak times.

Children over twelve years old are welcome and we also accept well behaved dogs.

Around and About

A short walk across the fields or by footpath can take you to Wells Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. Glastonbury, the Wookey Hole Caves, Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels are all closeby for days out and other attractions include the Royal Bath and West Showground and Clarks Village Discount Shopping Outlet. 

Bristol, Bath and Longleat can all also be found just half an hour away.

Directions

From Wells, take the A371 for Shepton Mallet for approx 1 mile. Turn left onto B3139 signposted Dulcote. In Dulcote, turn left at stone fountain. Little Fountains is the first drive on the right opposite the little chapel. The Coach House is within Little Fountains' walls.

From Shepton Mallet take the A371 to Wells. After Croscombe drive a further 2 miles and take a right turn onto A3139 signposted Dulcote. In Dulcote, turn left at stone fountain. Little Fountains is the first drive on the right opposite the little chapel. The Coach House is within Little Fountains' walls.
