Spotless clean and comfortable. It was very cold in the cottage when we arrived. It took a long time to warm up. It was particularly cold outside for the time we were staying.

The beds could have done with mattress toppers really as they were a little lumpy, although I’ve definitely encountered worse elsewhere. But the lounge was comfortable, it was very clean and the location was so handy to all the shops, cafes & restaurants which Wells has plenty of. There was also a parking facility 5-10 minute walk away, along with close by street parking which was free overnight and Sundays.

It is disappointing that the fire has not been fixed in nearly two years and there are still instructions in the handbook on how to light it if the auto-light doesn't work that are quite frankly dangerous! (My son- in-law is a gas engineer and he was horrified to see this). Also the matress in the top room has now got to a state where you are sleeping on bare springs, it is very uncomfortable.
