This is a gem of a place. Amazing location, convenient for the town and shops, as well as being a good base for touring around. Ideal size and lovely and warm during the recent cold snap. We had a weekend with our 2 dogs, (who really appreciated the heated floor), and loved the luxurious touches throughout. Such a joy to find treats in the fridge, and a a ready supply of teas, coffees and a pint of milk to get us started. While the kitchen is fully equipped the convenience of the local fish and chip shop, and a nice local Pizza restaurant made take aways too easy. Nice touch was the welcome message from the owners on the day we arrived - which made sure we had their contact details in case they were needed. As it was everything had been thought of and the lodge is probably one the most restful places we have stayed. Waking up and opening the curtains to look out over the valley was a joy.

Fabulous property, newly built and beautifully fitted out. Attractive setting and no immediate neighbours. Had difficulty finding it in the dark as postcode sent us to another property a few hundred yards away. Owner says he will improve directions.Be careful on the steps up to the house - the timber is very slippery when wet.
