This fabulous holiday cottage in West Compton allowed us to visit Wells, Bath, Glastonbury, Longleat, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge and Shepton Mallett. For us it was all about location, location, location. We stayed for a full week and went out each and every day.The cottage itself was lovely and clean and very well equipped with all mod cons. It even had its very own garden area. We had everything we could want or need including a dishwasher and washing machine. The Internet was a bit intermittent which impacted our ability to watch TV at times as everything was streamed to the TV as there was no aerial and therefore no Freeview.Our host Vicki was lovely and very helpful.We would definitely recommend this cottage and we would stay again without hesitation.

Midsummer Cottage is the most beautiful and romantic couples get away. I took my wife for a surprise night away and from start to finish Vicki couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived and were shown the beautiful garden we had access to, given directions for walks and shown around the cottage, and then as it was raining we hunkered down. The kitchen is really well equipped, the living room is cosy, and the bedroom is so comfortable. After we left I'd found that I'd left my jumpers behind, I called Vicki to ask if we could go back and collect them, and she offered to post them for me, we were only 35 mins away so headed back to collect them. Vicki then told us about the most beautiful spot for lunch, redeeming the need to return for the jumpers!! This is truly a beautiful place to stay and we really hope to come back. Thank you Vicki and Marque.

We came to be able to visit the Frome Cheese Fair. Cottage has everything that you would need and the friendly owners are on site should you require anything. Garden area to sit in with lovely views.
